This subject introduced the field of urban morphological analysis and a range of techniques for urban mapping. It included techniques for mapping and analysis of various layers of urban data. The focus would be on an understanding of how various techniques of urban mapping can creatively contribute to different urban design concepts, approaches and outcomes within a global context.
Assemblage
This exercise is to choose a keyword from the list and use this as a theme from which to produce a map of the whole transect, Elizabeth Street. The main aim is to visualize relevant links between multiple layers. Then to produce a map showing own interpretation of the concept and how it is evident in different parts of the transect.
